Disc conversion on C20

Hi all, I got a couple questions. I'm going to do a front drum to disc conversion and add power brakes to my 68 C20. I see available dropped spindles for the front. Would this be what I need ? I would like it to be 2.5" or 3" drop. Would I also need shorter springs? I guess I'm confused wether I need just dropped spindles with stock springs or do I use shorter springs AND dropped spindles, or just shorter springs?
Also in regards to the rear, Is 4" about the max I can lower without notching the frame? Im pretty sure I read here some ware that that is about max.
Thank you all for any help, I'm ready to make the purchase and want to make sure I don't buy a bunch of stuff I don't need.
