5" and 7" drop info
well in a little over a year I,ve been thru 3 new hanger bearings. I even installed a slip yoke in the rear shaft. bot I wish I knew this before i droped my 72 lwb truck. so. now going to install another "new" hanget bearing and gonna try to install it upside down (bolts on bottom) to get more height and h/b geometry. if this dont work I,am gonna go long tail th350 and 1 piece drive shaft. I drive my truck easy and dont haul anything ( 500lbs max & local) its used like a car 99.9% of the time. what are you fellas doing to stop the breaking problem ? everything in my driveline is new and shafts are balanced. just frustrated I recon, I am crippled and it really hurts doing this job.
bob in tn.
