Well, did the driver's side as the video suggests and removed the bracket. Got it first try! Used Denee's idea of welding a flat plate on the end of the track and it works great now. Used paint sticks and urethane to space and secure the run channel around the window opening. When that urethane hardens, I'll use a bit more to secure the bottom half of the run channel in the new front track. Still kept the clip in the rear one, so it's good back there.
All in all the mod isn't that hard to do if you pay attention to the videos the first few times you watch 'em. Wouldn't be afraid to do it again, now, but still, I'm too attached to my wind wings to ever do it to my personal trucks.
