Brake issue.... Requesting input from you
Good morning Everyone, hope the weekend is going well so far
Have a situation for you, and would REALLY appreciate as much input or advise as possible. Truck Info: 1971 Blazer, Disc/Drum set up. All Stock axels Recent Project: Checked rear brakes and noticed they need refreshing. So I installed new rear hardware (springs, clips, etc) new wheel cyls on both sides, had the drums mechined, and put new pads. Everything went great and I noticed a huge difference. One week after the completion of the rear brakes project, i noticed that the truck felt sluggish on my way home ONLY, not in the mornings! The following day it got so bad that in traffic I did not need to use the brakes!! The truck would stop by it self!!! Checked from brakes and the front left caliber was stuck/locked. So I bought new calibers, pads, turned rotors and completely flushed the system. Worked great for a few days and then on my way home from work i noticed that only my front brakes were working.............. So to sum it up, did the rear brakes, then the fronts started sticking. Fixed the fronts and lost all rear brakes???? Any ideas were to start????? PPV's? Master? Booster? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!! I always appreciate the time I get from all your responses! Nick
