One Owner 1975 Cheyenne Camper Special

So I am starting to think I have a problem. I tend to browse craigslist to see what deal might come up and well now I have pairs of Chevy trucks from the following generations. 60-65, 67-72, and now two of the 73-87 generation. Only my daily driver 2005 silverado doesnt have a generation mate. So while browsing the CL I came across a vague ad for 1975 chevy truck for a very reasonable sum. Only issue was no pic, no phone and general map location putting it 95 miles away. Sent out the email. Suprisingly got a response and set up a time to go look at it. What did I find after the long drive with trailer in tow. A one owner camper special Cheyenne C-20, 454 automatic. It is set up to run gas or propane. The original owner had passed a few years ago and left the truck to his daughter. They said they could not get it to run right on regular gas and never tried to run it on propane. After verifying good title money changed hands I loaded it up in an unknown running condition. Brought it home and rolled it off the trailer and called it a day. Well that was saturday and after shuffling the rest of the trucks around yesterday. I made room for it in the shop expecting the worst to try and get it running. I checked fluids, threw in a battery, it turned over no problems, tried regular gas method and no luck. I could hear propane in the tank, when i unloaded it. Tried again and cranked it over and it came right to life. So much so that I aired the tires up to the correct pressure and took her for a ride. I have to say i have had good and bad CL finds but this one tops them all. I'll post pictures later and to show its condition. I am still in shock how lucky I got this round. BTW I was only going to buy it for parts for my 80 K-20. Parts truck it will not be.
