Found my build sheet....excellent find!!
Well, I doing a little cleaning the truck on the weekend including some rust-checking, etc and low and behold...tucked in behind the original gas tank cardboard cover was the original factory build sheet.
I had briefly looked for it before directly behind the seat in the upholstery backing but never saw anything so just assumed it was missing and gone. Needless to say....I was happy camper to see it tucked in that gas tank area!! The truck itself is a very original and fairly well optioned California truck ('72- Med Blue/White) and finding the build sheet is a great adder to the history of it for me. I'm not 100% familiar with these sheets but it looks like its birthday was on April 19th, 1972. It was delivered and sold new at John Geer Chevrolet in Sacramento. The cool side to that is that when I got the truck it still had the original cast metal 'John Geer Chevrolet' licence bracket on it...glad I kept it!! all Good Coley Attachment 1165803
