Changing Front Track width on 47-54s

I ask because I'm looking at some IFS conversions (not clips) that increase track width to 58-59"

From what i read stock width of 56" goes to 56.5 with either disc brake kits most Mustang ll conversions. I've seen pics of a lot of front clips done with Nova, Camaro & Monte Carlo, etc. & I believe these range from 58-59.5 ".

Does this increased track width have bad consequences as to looks, handling etc.?
