Cool Rusty Radiator Swap

Hi Truck lovers,

I've flushed the cooling system numerous times and it is just time to get rid of the rust once and for all.
I'm replacing my original radiator that is all rusted out with an aluminum replica from Classic Industries. I also have a new Billet Aluminum overflow tank from JEGS to go with the radiator. While I have the radiator hoses off I might as well replace the thermostat so I picked up a 180 F thermostat for my 350 HO Deluxe.

My question since it's been rusty for a while, Should I replace the transmission cooler as well?
The fluid was never milky brown only green with some brown in it but the radiator and overflow tanks were completely rusted. It makes me wonder if the transmission cooler is the same.

I was thinking to replace the radiator and overflow tank for sure. Drive it for a few hundred miles and see if the fluid still has some rust in it then if so replace the transmission cooler. If not, just keep on keepin on.

What do you guys think?
