want to lock and disc my ho72

alright well im getting the itch to do this again.
just need some final info to do it correctly.
I want to add disc brakes to my ho72 eaton and also lock it. from my reading I can use a 14 bolt locker if I shave the matching 14 bolt shaft 1/4 inch, well what about the axle spline differences does that matter? id like to find an original no spin but they seem to be few and far between.
now for the disc brakes, I see blackbird custom trucks has a kit to do this. also from my reading I can use 14 bolt backing plates and then set up the calipers and pads on that backing plate, well then I need to press in 9/16 studs (which is no big deal) whih hub would I have to use in order to get this to work? my factory eaton, or the 14 bolt hub? I guess what im asking is what is the step by step process involved in converting to isc brakes? ive seen a few threads on this, but it seems nobody has a concrete answer, and a lot of the people replying to that thread seem to hijack it with their own questions (which is fine) but causes more confusion
