Disappointed in Magna Flow
My son's car has a Magna Flow Cat-Back system on it that the PO put on. He noticed a vibration last week and on inspection we found the left tube cracked where it meets the muffler.
Checked the Magna Flow website, lifetime warranty on stainless exhausts...for the original owner(we are not). Sent an email just to see if they might stand behind the part even though we were not the original purchaser. Not a chance. I asked how to order a new tube to replace the cracked one...they wont sell one piece of a kit, I have to buy the whole thing...so they want me to spend $600 to fix something that they would replace under a lifetime warranty if I were the original purchaser. My disappointment is not that they wont replace the broken part (I figured that from the start but for some reason I thought they might), but that they wont help me at all by letting me buy the part I need. Oh well, to the muffler shop to have it welded up.
