Restored 60-63 Factory Tach Gauge Cluster
Restored '60-63 factory tach cluster. I've cosmetically restored it but I don't have any way to check to see if the gauges work. All needles move freely and park where they should with no signs of damage. Price is $575.00, sold as-is, no guarantee that they work. Paypal or UPSP money order preferred. Post your zip and I'll get you a shipping quote if you're interested in buying. Please no PM's according to the buying/selling rules. Will be shipped with tracking and insurance, and well packaged to avoid damage. I ship within two business days.
What I did to restore it: Gauge faces have Greenback Decal's decals applied. These are the highest quality, most correct overlays available IMO. Gauge needles have been repainted the correct florescent orange/red. The housing, bezel, and gauge holders have been glass bead blasted and repainted in the correct finishes. Bezel was primed and wetsanded prior to painting for a smoother finish. The intermediate plate was stripped and repainted the correct low gloss black. It has a nice original lens that I wet sanded and buffed for better clarity. I stripped the old lettering paint and applied new paint. One of the niceset 60-63 lenses I've seen; these aren't available new. Cleaned the original turn signal, "TAND"M LOCK", and "OVER SPEED" lenses. They light up very nicely. Odometer set to 99,999. I can reset it to match your truck's mileage if you prefer that. ***It is missing the wiring harness but the harness is the same as a regular cluster with gauges so you would be able to reuse your original harness. The tach harness was originally separate and would be simple to make one. ***
