Best Engine Combo for My Truck

The past couple of days I have been thinking about the best possible combination of heads, cam, and intake for my truck. When I bought the truck it already had an offenhuaser 360 high rise intake on it. While it runs strong, I feel like I am not taking full advantage of it due to the stock cam and heads. With the little research I have done I am thinking that a set of dart heads and slightly larger than stock cam from summit would be the way to go. I am going to get the exact specs from offenhauser. Based on my intake and the way my truck runs I am looking at making power in the 1600-4500 range. To do the job I am looking at around $800 for everything. Am I on the right track or is there a better way to make the most power in this price range. A little more info on the truck: it currently has a complete MSD ignition including hei distributor, wires, and 6a box.
