Testing Tach Cluster Not Installed
I have a tach/air pressure cluster I got out of a C-60 a while back and am getting around to trying to see if the tach works. My service manual does not appear to show how the tach was installed. The tach has two connections, one for 12V and one for the coil. Is it as easy as running a wire to the coil (negitive side)and switched 12V connection? Seems like there needs to be a ground somewhere. I am use to hooking up my dwell meter to ground and the coil so I just want to make sure I don't fry the tach (if it isn't already fried). Thanks.
