Military chevy axles

Ok....

I've found a guy with a set of 3/4 ton axles he'll sell me for (relatively) cheap.

This is at an army surplus place btw...

Anyways, he said he pulled them from a 3/4 ton military chevy pickup, both 8 lug, dana 60 f/f rear and a HD 44 front.

I wouldn't question anything except there are no hubs on the front. The rotors look just like 2wd rotors, just like on the newer pickups with the IFS.

Someone else told me that this means the axles are really from a dodge and are full time 4x4, and thus not what I need.

Is it possible they are still chevy axles and just have fully internal auto hubs? Or are they dodge axles I need to avoid?

Didn't have the camera with me so no pictures.

I might pick up just the rear anyway if the brake parts are still availible for it. Need to go and look again another day...
