1 more Ammeter ? Is it switched?!?!?!
Thanks to the previous post, I learned that there are 2 fuses for the ammeter. Both of mine were fried, so I replaced them, and "tada" it works
While my truck is running, it kind of bounces a tiny bit (stays on the charge side), and sometimes it will jump to half way to pegging on the charge side for just a split second. No big deal, I wouldn't think that it would be a smooth movement anyway But here is my actual problem... Is this thing supposed to always be 'on', or should it be switched?!?!?! I can turn off the key, flip on the lights and it goes a little to the discharge side. So technically, with the key off, there is no charge or drain, but it still seems to me that there would be just a small drain by this gauge always being on. So, should I leave it the way it is, or can I snip a wire and run it through my ignition switch <-- If so, where would I connect the switch (I would think to do it by the junction box next to the battery, on the black fused wire). Thanks for all the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
