$13,000 is a lot of money but I have seen people spend much more. I would figure it this way. Materials will probably cost in the neighborhood of $2,500, that leaves about $10,000 to pay for "time". At $50 an hour that gives you 200 hours. 200 hours in my opinion is not all that unreasonable for a very good job. Again I have seen many more hours in projects that turn out to be worth a lot less. The one caution is making sure the bodyshop does not gouge you for any "hidden" costs. I have heard too many stores of I quoted $5,000 but ended up costing $15,000. Get in writing exactly what they are going to do and the cost.
