Thought I'd share my truck and how I got it with y'all. This is my first C10 but my second classic car. Found the truck on eBay up in Kansas which is like a foreign country to a Texan like myself. Nonetheless, I decided to go for it. I booked a plane ticket for the weekend and waited "patiently". Soon enough the morning came and the wife graciously dropped me off at the airport. The flight didn't take long and next thing I knew I was being picked up to look at a truck that I didn't really know well enough. But, as soon as we pulled up and I saw her I knew she was coming home with me. And not just because I had just flown one-way to Kansas City without a way home otherwise. Next was the, harrowing, 9 hour journey back to Texas in a poorly lowered 1970 truck without seat belts.
I've had her for a couple of months now and learning as much as I can. I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions in the coming months and hopefully years about the truck. Been lurking around the website for a while picking up advice and ideas for a little while now to try to get a head start. Anyway, here are some pictures for y'all to enjoy.
