whats it worth at a quick glance?

So the story is that the transmission went out six or so years ago and it was parked under the pine trees. I think the guy said it was a 65. I dont know much about these trucks, but sure would like to save it. The owner said the engine would run and was asking a staggering price of 1500.

I didnt get a chance to really give it a going over, but managed to get a few quick pics.

The upside is big window, maybe a custom judging by the holes on the cab?
possible running V8, dual exhaust, short bed.

Not alot of info, but thought you guys might like to see it and offer me some advise on what to look for in the event that I can find a way to drag it home without ending up divorced.

I will post Moore pics based on member participation.
