help with disc conversion

hello all. I have a 1966 c10 with original power drum brakes. I'm doing a disc brake conversion. I would like to keep everything looking as original as I can. anybody see any problems with just putting a 72 power disc master cylinder/proportioning valve on my original booster? I'm thinking that it should just bolt on and the only thing of concern is the length of the intermediate shaft. any body with any experience on this?
