junkmandan3 Registered User Join Date: Dec 2013 Location: Northfield,Ohio Posts: 221	Re: Trucks Are Beautiful Bill------I think the MHs got the deep side skirts in 74 when GMC raised the cab 4" to accomodate a deeper radiator for higher HP engines. But I've never seen that hood on a 7500 model. The cab has the correct dog house for 6V53 with rear flange mount compressor . I'm guessing the hood was changed. I can use a short hood like that for my 6-71 powered JI 9500.
