Learned lesson today...

It was on my wife's 2000 Silverado, but it can happen to anyone on any car/truck.....

Last Christmas I had "Best Buy" install a new stereo/amp in the wife's truck. The guy that did the install didn't use the gold connector on the battery for the amp. It ended up almost destroying the positive battery terminal with all the corrosion. But they were cool about it, replaced everything under warranty and the guy that did the initial install has been fired for doing bad installs. This was the 3rd one like this that came back plus there was some other rather questionable installation practices.
