column question
the colder its getting here in the northeast the harder it is to get my truck started. this morning after clearing a foot of snow off it it took two hands to twist the ignition past the on position after the glow plugs lit to get the thing to start position, and get the motor to crank. While it was warm out I never had a problem. Im thinking that I may be having some issues with the ignition switch or the linkage freezing. Im thinking for a quick fix spray some WD40 on it.. that should be safe and if it gets on electrical connections wont hurt anything will it.. I was going to pop off the wheel and spray it down the ignition key switch and maybe along the actuator rod and that gear thing
