Drop leaf spring ?

Ive got a 97 Silverado and I want to do a drop on it, ( thinking a 2/4 ) I was wondering how these drop leafs work. I have asked on other forums but never really got any solid answers. Im concerned with axle wrap or am I just over thinking these springs? My truck is a ext cab so I know there is a lil more weight to it and I don't want it to ride like a waterbed if you know what I mean ( sloppy) . I know Belltech and Western Chassis offers drop leafs not sure who is better though...

I know I can do shackles and hangers but if I use drop springs and want more rear drop I will just use lowering shackles only because I don't want a 4/6 drop. Don't know if that makes any sense but I want a decent sidewall because our roads are bad here and Im gonna run 20's

This is a quick pic of what I want to lower, I would appreciate any info on the drop springs on how they perform or what to expect ride wise Thank you.
