Thanks Alan.

I remember seeing that type of stanchion (?) on big trucks, 60s, 70s and semis. But this is the first time on a 10-30. Were they common and I'm just out of the know?

In trying to preserve them, could you just salvage the bumps and not the whole top. Or are the bumps rusted thin also?
