I bet if you blast the kick panels you will have a ton of holes there also. I ran into that problem on my truck. In its previous life it was a fire truck and the roof light leaked a little. Rotted out the kick panels and floor pans. Outside of the roof was fine but ended up with pinholes on the inner also. I know this is a different problem but I am trying to point out what happens as the water migrates. Your lower structure should be like mine was.
