Re: LS Motor Position

Hi Houston Ben, When i get to buying lines, condenser, i will try the trailblazer lines first for sure as the 5.3,6.0 work with the compressor as mounted in the pics. As a past ase mechanic i looked at the system like this; the trailblazer interior volume is probably a little bigger than our cabs interior volume, and they had additional load of rear air also, compressor mounts down low and uses the inner serpentine separate groove off of the crank pulley with a short belt and it's own tensioner, the compressor sits in a cool ideal location, so if i can get the condenser to work from the trailblazer the fittings should be spot on, the blazer uses clutch fans as so does my 2001 set up. I will use the suggested evap core from 73-87 i believe (have to double check before ordering) so the only delima i see is the line between condenser to evap core and receiver drier (gm calls it an accumulator) with the inlet and outlet clocked correctly. The electrical is my specialty as i did my share of electrical and drivability work the last 10 years i worked. Oh, don't forget dirty dingo mounts i don't think will fit, probably run into the compressor. Good luck, Brian Fuller
