Flare - Start flasher switch dilemma.

Alright so I purchased a flasher switch from a local boneyard that was in an old 64 GMC flatbed 1 ton and want to wire it into my truck. I took a picture of it before I removed it from the wiring harness and tried to re wire it the same way as the Jimmy was. Unfortunately it only works when I had the ignition on and turn signal on. Couldn't find a good source of constant power to wore the fusible link into. Any suggestions or advice?
