Gauge cluster electrical problems

Has anyone had this problem before?
Dolphin Gauges all work fine with headlights off. As soon as I turn headlights on all gauges stop working (go to zero or max). Is there a short or is it improperly grounded?
Truck is at the shop otherwise I'd take a video for a better reference.
Here's a pic of the setup. Not sure what PO did with wiring.
