I also like the fact that the kits offer the molded plug for the relays to help protect the terminals a bit from corrosion.
I normally purchase the plug housings and terminals separately from our suppliers and make my own.
Anything that goes under the hood needs to be somewhat weathertight, if nothing else, at least with heat shrink.
Have also installed similar kits like LMC's and no modification is necessary, just plug and play. We use the H4 conversion bulb housings.
