I'm not sure if this shot is of any value, but it's the only picture I can find showing the rubber flaps installed. Apparently I secured mine with pop rivets:



I also went through the 1960 Chevy Truck Shop Manual looking for a picture. The only shot I found doesn't seem to have the flaps/brackets installed.
