Question Installing '66 IFS on '62 frame questions

Hi everyone,
Got a few questions for you about swapping a 6 lug '66 IFS onto a '6 lug '62 truck. The truck in question is a '62 short bed, and Dad wants to lower it a little bit more than with the torsion front end, plus parts are cheaper for the '66 frontend. He doesn't want disc, only installing a dual master on firewall with drums. It's basically a weekend driver, and since the SBC went south a few weeks back. He wants me to start on it.

Is it a straight forward bolt in? Any problems I might run into? I got all the steering linkage, idler arm, steering box, even factory sway bar too. Also he's got a 250 inline 6 out of a '73 c10 he wants me to drop in. Has manual clutch linkage, no slave cylinder. Anything special/specific to the inline that I might need?
Many thanks
