for this engine it really wasnt necessary to improve the OEM manifold. this one is going to be somewhere in the 500hp range. so as opposed to create a huge can of worms trying to make a manifold(and believe me, i thought about it) it was more sensible to go with an OEM. since i cant leave anything alone, i had to cut it to fit my needs. the next engine will probably get a fabricated exhaust and intake. looking for 1k HP from that one, so a masterpiece will be better. also, in the name of tax deductions i am going to try to get myself a tig welder this year, and that will greatly assist in making a manifold.
