Re: Where/How did you find your Truck ?

My first Green and White 72 Cheyenne I got in high school back in 99 when the newspaper was still the place to find vehicles. My dad and I went to look at it and came home with it that day. I wasn't sure if my dad was serious about helping me out with it or not so I pulled the trigger on the first truck we looked at. Ended up being a long but great project and cut my teeth in the automotive world until someone had to have it more than me... stolen in April of 2007 and never recovered.

My second 67-72 was a 71 SWB base model truck I found on a local forum and picked up only to sell it back to the guy I got it from. It has a 2002 chassis and running gear in it last I heard.

My current Wheatland/White 72 I found on eBay. It had been listed several times over and had no bites. I kept an eye on it and after the third re-listing I sent the owner an email and he accepted my offer. I drug it home in 2008 and have had it ever since.
