ryanroo Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: sw colorado Posts: 2,720	Re: Making an engine stand, the overkill way the usual load is .035. i run .045 for some things at work, but for some reason my machine likes the smaller wire. it is an inverter power source that will make plenty of voltage, but something about it just welds cleaner with .035. at home i run .035 too. the MM250 will do it with 045 but i dont work on anything that needs that big of filler at home. __________________ 72 K20 12v build 72 K20 "parts truck" A place for your diesel swap questions
