O.K. I'm a square now....

Was looking at 68-72's, but I found a '74 C20 Cheyenne Super LB (454/TH400) for $1700...runs sweet. Body straight...dark green paintjob passable for a working truck...cracked w/s and dashpad...

A leaky tranny pan postponed the test drive... (dribbling out the electronic kickdown plug), not the pan gasket(The wrench I bought the truck from is fixin this). Small coolant leak from upper radiator hose. Maybe some oil seep through the (edelbrock) manifold bolt holes and looks like a little drippage from the M/T valve covers. Will know more soon, i.e., will have many questions, but for now I'm stoked.

It got dark on me before I could snap a pic.,.. but I'll be posting photos soon.
