Smile Springs???

Still working on the little times on my 71 C10. While having the instruments out and messing with other things, I see a broken spring hanging from an eyelet on the inside of the cab.

After having looked around a but I see one spring connected to the clutch pedal. That one is for the pedal to return to the top. Got that.

The springs that's busted is inboard from that one and appears to be a brake pedal return spring. Am I correct? Any idea where to buy one? LMC and Truck Parts of Orange don't show one in their catalogs.

If there's supposed to be one, how in the Heck do I stretch it to hook to the two points I see? There's very little room under there!

Thanks in advance. Photos of this ragged beater to come once I get it running and can move it into the driveway.
