Re: Vintage YOM License Plate Thread

A couple more pairs I have... the CT ones pictured here are the ones I'm really using on the truck. They are registered at the DMV as YOM combination plates while I keep "Early American" plates in the glovebox as per CT law. What I like about this is the fact that nobody on the Internet can trace out the plates without having direct access to the DMV's internal documents. If you ever see the dark blue plates without starting in "C" or "CA" they are passenger plates and were never issued to pickup trucks. I'm willing to bet you never see another truck out there running the correct YOM plates in CT. The CA plates here are not correct for trucks (as most of you already know) but I keep a pair just in case I ever register an old car in California
