Cutting Rear springs
Is it possible to cut rear coil springs and recurve the pig tail?
I was thinking about doing this, how much to cut off is an issue, 1 - 2 coils? I would like to get a 4 -5 inch drop when it is finished. I would put the coils in a bucket of water to keep the other part cool. Has anyone done this? Were you successful, or did you wreck a pair of springs. I know we can buy dropped coils cheaply but this would be even cheaper.
