Does this look right to you?

Full disclosure, bit of a newb here with a 67' Chevy CST 327

The bearings were shot on my water pump so I replaced it with the help of a friend. I hooked everything up exactly the way it was but I'm now comparing it to other pictures and it doesn't look the same. It seems to run fine with no coolant leaks but I want to make sure it's hooked up correctly.

The right angle adapter coming out the top of the water pump is what I'm questioning.

Can someone please explain a little theory of operation here and why I feel like I have too many hoses coming out this thing. Which hose goes where?

I'm NEW!

Thanks guys
