Doing something small
It all started with.... LOL I think most of our truck endeavors start this way. I started with just a simple thing and it escalated from there. When i got my truck I knew the grill was in upside down. Not a huge ordeal to fix so after working on the engine and getting most of it squared away I started on the Grill. Pulled it out. 1 screw and some silicone on the screw holding it in place is what was holding the entire grill in. So got the grill out and noticed all my headlight adjusters were bolts and nuts. Well onto rockauto we go. Order a t-stat cause mines to low if it actually has one. 4 sets of headlight adjusters and an oil pressure switch since mine reads too high to be true. So after sitting for a couple days the parts come in and i start to remove the headlight bolts and think to myself these headlight buckets are aweful rusty and would probably adjust better with a bit of new grease on the back of the buckets. well that escalates into pulling all of them out and cleaning with a wire brush then i think to myself well if i have went this far might as well start painting too. LOL So I painted the headlight buckets and started in on the rust on the radiator support and its up for paint next. LOL Sometimes I think i think a bit too much for something that was never meant to be a show truck. Im just glad i dont have access to some powder coating. LOL
