Is the cab the same?

Found a truck. 1949. Looks like a 1 ton to me. I'm having a bit of a hard time trying to figure out. Is the cabs all the same? The guy wants to sell this set up for about 1200. It's sitting on a s10. Unfortunately I'm not going to that route. I'm thinking art Morrison.

So what I am asking. First. Is this a 1 ton? Second. Am I going to have to toss hood and fenders and the only thing I'll get for this 1200 he is asking is the cab? And 3rd. Is it a good deal? I asked the guy for more pictures but this is all I have.

I'm still a little new to all this. I'm learning though.
