Took the Beast on a 700 Mile round trip.
Sacramento to Santa Maria, 75-80 MPH most of the way there and back. Rides old school enough to be nostalgic but comfortable enough to enjoy immensely.
I have seen quite a few questions about high steer cross over steering on this site and conflicting answers to its performance and value VS. cost. I cannot speak for anyone elses cross over steering but I can tell you that, installed correctly, it eliminates all bump steering completely and changed the way my truck handles/drives all together. Yes, that is Cow S*** on my tires, thats my friends Cattle Ranch in the background. I like my truck better like that then shined up sitting at a show and have decided my truck saw its first and last show. I am going to drive it until its ready to be restored again..... Had an awesome trip and weekend with it. I was pulled over for 78 in a 55 half way there and am happy to report that the officers were kind enough to let me off with a warning and a bunch of compliments on the truck.
