Bellhousing for a 62 ( which one)

I am looking at buying a 1962 chevy truck. It has a 235 and a manual trans.I want to swap to the later 250-292 six. The bellhousing is not the same.I know that the V-8 bellhousing and the late six is the same -as is the flywheel starter etc.
The problem is the slave cylinder on the clutch mechanism. Will this bolt up to any 60"s v8 bellhousing or is it specific to the 60-62 . If so which bellhousing?I really want to stay six cylinder power - just go to the later version.
