I have the exact same tank kit installed and attempted putting the box on today. One crossmember is directly above the filler neck and rests on the gas tank as u mentioned. What did u end up doing to reinstall your box?

I havent made any more progress lately. Haven't had a chance or the money. I don't know, I reackon I'll just move it forward or backwards and maybe cut some of the channel out to go around tank. What was u thinking?
