dixiepc Registered User Join Date: Feb 2010 Location: GA Posts: 9	1979 6.2 k5 I'm getting ready to put a 6.2 in a 1979 K5 that I just bought. The radiator for the 6.2 is bigger like one for a 454. The 82' and up radiator supports have provisions for the shorter radiator or the longer one. But this 79' radiator support doesn't have these provisions. Did they ever have the longer radiators in 79' trucks?
