Can I use 92 donor truck on my 68?

I recently acquired a 68 GMC C30 Dually Flatbed and shared my find with a close friend. He has a complete, running 92 Chevy C30 Dually that he's offered to give me as a donor for the changes I pan to make to the suspension of my GMC. Can any of you tell me if this is a worthwhile donor for suspension pieces? I've read a number of threads on the forum that recommend using a 73-87 as a donor, but haven't found much on using this era truck. Also, the donor has Alcoas on it which I very much would like to put on my GMC. Any help, suggestions or insight would be very helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
