Re: 69 LWB Power Tour Rig

So this is the last update for a couple weeks, but I got a lot done. I got really lucky as far as timing, because my plan for today was to just clean up the garage, paint the booster and the prop valve, and that's about it. Well, I had ordered a TSS pigtail and a TV cable for the 4L60 from Rock Auto on tuesday, and expected to get them next week. Well, they showed up today! So I slapped those on there, which meant I was done with the stuff under the truck. So I wound up finishing that all up, slapping the cab back on the frame, hooking everything up, and tying up a whole lot of loose ends I was waiting to work on. So now, the plan is to paint the doors, fenders, and the top of the cab (white), then hook up the wiring harness, get the exhaust done, and hook up a battery. Yea there's a few odds and ends, but really I'm fuel, fluids, and power away from being able to start this thing up. I might actually be able to get it running by the end of May. Progress!! |
