Lolita
Lolita is a 70 Chevrolet that started life as a 3/4 ton leaf spring truck. It was assembled in California and sold in Montana. Its been in Texas and Arizona most of its life. It came to me by way of a Craigslist ad for $275. The guy had bought the truck back in 06 and went to Texas to drive it back. On the way back the motor let loose and also the rear end had a problem. So I guess he had been slowly taking it apart for one reason or another. It was really just the cab, frame, front end and most of the interior. It also came with a protect-plate and a build sheet. There is also a build sheet under the seat, at least whats left of it. As far as body parts I received with the truck, I got cab, doors, fenders, hood, radiator support, inner fenders. The support and inners look to have been blasted and primed.
There is rust in the lower front supports. Only the lower 1/2. Part of the front floor pans, kick panel lowers, rockers, cab corners. So the plan:: It will be a swb step side. Shave the chains, Mar-K hardware, Roll pan rear, Custom tail lights. Small block crate motor, 700r auto 5 lug all around. Lowered-Not sure if it'll be Portered or not. I'd like to. A/C of corse. The color will be Red w/a white top, black interior. Wheels- To be determined- Brakes-Wilwoods My wife named the truck Lolita. Heres some pics.
