static drop on 1950 chev truck

Hi everybody i have a 1950 chev truck and i am wanting to lower it as much as possible i have a mustang 2 front suspension with 2 inch drop spindles i have 15 inch rims on it but it is still sits to high i want it real low in the front end any sugestions on what to do i thought maybe cutting the coil springs 2 inches i was also wondering can i lower the cab a little to make it have a lower stance in the front any ideas on this would be appreciated thank you
