De-painted my SPID
I successfully got a couple layers of paint off my glovebox and found my SPID, not done but enough to get most of it, looks like somebody tried to scrape it off at some point, so it's sketchy. maybe you guys can help. I am partial to orange, would have kept it that in a restore, and I have seen evidence of OCHRE (which I don't hate, but not particularly fond of) up under the dash, but somehow after seeing it in print on the SPID, I feel a slight compulsion to bring it back to original. Not sure. Factory black top (!), and I THINK skid plate (!).
Here are the pictures followed by what I think I see or am able to decode: left side - unknown - front wheel locking hubs - 350 cid v8 engine - skid plate ????? - unknown - unknown - cigarette lighter - gauge, ammeter, oil - Ochre right side - rear seat - posi trac - Turbo Hydramatic - power steering - unknown - heavy duty battery - AM pushbutton radio - Removable hardtop, black - Black vinyl trim
